JOB DESCRIPTION
TITLE: Dining Facility Cook
DEPARTMENT: Administration
REPORTS TO: Administrative Assistant
FLSA STATUS: Non-Exempt
NATURE OF WORK
Cooks prepared meals daily, seven days a week and will serve the meals at designated times. Menus provided by the Administrative Assistant will be approved by a licensed dietician and will be posted in the dining facility kitchen. Meals will be prepared and served as shown on the menu. Cooks will make a grocery lists and shop for groceries weekly. Cooks will be responsible for the cleanliness of the kitchen and dining area. Cooks will be under direct supervision of the Administrative Assistant and will perform other duties as directed by the Administrative Assistant.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
- Cooks meals as shown on approved menus.
- Serves food in appetizing and attractive manner and in a congenial, relaxed atmosphere.
- Comply with State and County Health Department regulations.
- Follow guidelines set forth in the dietary plan of the Roadback, Inc. policies and procedures manual.
- Ensure the dietetic menu is followed and concerns about and/or changes in the menu are addressed with the Administrative Assistant
- Prepare weekly shopping order and
- Maintain personal cleanliness and hygiene
- Deliver meals and supplies
EDUCATION, TRAINING, AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
- One (1) year sobriety, if in recovery program.
- Must be 21 years of age or older.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Current Food Handlers Permit.
- Three (3) years experience preparing meals for ten or more people, ordering and following dietetic guidelines.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY
No supervisory responsibility required.

Current Food Handlers Permit issued by the City of Lawton.

JOB DESCRIPTION
TITLE: Residential Aide
DEPARTMENT: Residential Treatment,
Halfway Houses
Non-medical Detox
REPORTS TO: Facility Manager
FLSA STATUS: Non-Exempt
NATURE OF WORK
Works for the Facility Manager and the Program Director to ensure there is a therapeutic environment for substance abuse services consistent with Roadback Inc. policies and procedures. Each residential aide will lead discussions and/or supportive services as needed. Residential aide will report to the Facility Manager any rule violations by the consumers. The residential aid will be responsible for enforcing wake up and curfew of consumers. Will serve as monitor for medication policies and procedures.
ESSENTIAL JOB Responsibilities:
- Supervises and provides direct care of consumers.
- Transports to and supervises consumers at outside self-help meetings and structured activities as scheduled.
- Is knowledgeable of the training in emergency procedures.
- Reports all rule violations to the Facility Manager.
- Documents in staff logs all supportive sessions in which consumers participate.
- Documents any and all medication taken by consumers on record of medications and in staff log.
- Maintains current Red Cross certification for Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation and First Aid.
- Obtains at least 12 clock hours per year of staff development courses.
- Insures compliance with Roadback, Inc., policies and procedures, as well as compliance with guidance of the Program Director and/or Facility Manager.
- Adheres to the Alcohol/Drug counselor’s code of ethics.
- Assists with food preparation and cleanup as assigned.
- Any other duties assigned by the Facility Manager.
- Monitors consumers who are in the non-medical detoxification programs
- Maintain gas cards to ensure that all vehicles are full of gas.
- Monitor medication policy and procedures on daily basis to ensure compliance; this will also involve serving as the contact person for contracted nursing agency
- Serve as appointed inspector to authorize items brought into the facility on Mon-Friday basis to ensure compliance with policies and procedures
EDUCATION, TRAINING, AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

Must be 21 years of age or older
- If in recovery, three years sobriety.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Experience and/or training regarding substance abuse.
- Current CPR/1st Aid Certification.
